We ask that you give the sitter the following information before a booking takes place, which you can also write down in your Dog's Profile:
- Alternative Emergency Contact
The first thing a sitter will try to do if there is any kind of emergency is to contact the owner. Please provide with sitter with an alternative emergency contact that is available during the period of the booking, especially if you expect to be travelling or generally unavailable.
- Veterinary details
Please provide the sitter with the contact of your dog's vet, so they can contact them in case of an emergency. This is especially important if they need to ask about any prior medical history.
- Special information about the dog
Every dog has its quirks or particular behaviours (e.g. barking at the mailman or sleeping with a particular toy) so please let the sitter know what these quirks may be before dropping off your dog. Also, let the sitter know of any known health issues and habits, such as feeding times and amounts.
We recommend you also bring the following when dropping off your dog:
- Your dog’s collar and lead
- Any favourite treats and toys
- Their preferred food and their water bowl
- Their own dog bed and a blanket
