As an owner, you can cancel a booking yourself up to a day before the booking starts. Sitters can choose one of the following cancellation policies, which is clearly displayed on their listing:
- Flexible: Full refund up to a day before the booking starts (11:59pm the day before the booking start date); no refund thereafter
- Moderate: Full refund with five days' notice (e.g. if the booking start date is Friday, you can cancel with a full refund up to 11:59pm Saturday before); 50% up to a day before the booking starts; no refund thereafter
- Strict: 50% refund with seven days' notice; no refund thereafter (e.g. if the booking start date is Friday, you can cancel with a 50% refund up to 11:59pm the Thursday before)
All DogBuddy service fees are always refundable if the service hasn't taken place.
All Doggy Day Care and Dog Walking services have a Flexible cancellation policy.
In the unlikely event that the sitter has to cancel a booking, we will naturally fully refund you the booking value. Please note that refunds are processed automatically and immediately by DogBuddy, but can take between 5-10 business days to appear in your bank account, depending on your bank.
