At present, becoming a dog sitter is a feature only available on our website. We hope to bring this to our apps in the future.
How to signup as a dog sitter:
Click on the Become a sitter link at the bottom of the homepage.
Fill in the form with the required information and choose your own rates for your services.
Upload at least four (4) high quality photos of yourself with dogs, your property (inside and out) and any nearby parks.
Upload clear photos of your tidy house
Show you've got a great backyard or parks to offer near you
Don't forget to showcase your love for pooches!
You'll also need to add an account photo clearly showing your face
Describe your experience with dogs and the various services you can provide. Make sure to highlight what kind of dogs you are compatible with, and if there are any dogs you would prefer to not care for. This is important to prevent dog owners with incompatible breeds contacting you.
You'll be prompted to take the latest version of our online assessment, which aims to familiarise you with DogBuddy's policies as well as our Trust and Safety standards.
Once you've completed the assessment, a member of our team will review your answers alongside your listing and will contact you with any further questions, requesting clarification about your experience. At this time, you can also send us a Proof of Address, if you would like the credential to appear on your listing, showing to owners that your address has been verified (owners will only see your address when they have a confirmed booking with you).
If your application is successful and you have the right experience with and passion for dogs, we'll approve your listing and it'll appear in the search results. Then, you're ready to go!
