You pay by using your debit or credit card through the secure payments system on our website or in our app.
We are integrated with Stripe, an international leading payment provider, to process payments and refunds. This means we can guarantee the highest level of security for your card details. Stripe is certified as a PCI Level 1 Service Provider - the highest in the payments system industry. All payments and checkout pages are served over SSL and your card details are encrypted. This also means that DogBuddy never actually touches to your card details. All payments, pre-authorisations and refunds are processed immediately and automatically by Stripe outside of our servers, and as such, any refund and hold release timelines are governed by your bank's timelines and not ours.

All transactions must be made through DogBuddy to ensure that the bookings are covered by our vet and public liability insurance, as well as ensuring the safety and quality of DogBuddy by enabling dog owners to leave reviews for completed bookings. We work hard to prevent fraud, so please notify us by emailing safety@dogbuddy.com if a sitter demands that you pay them in cash, money wire, bank transfer, etc.
